Why choose Learning Labs for your university’s mental wellbeing support?

There are two very different groups of people who need considering in a holistic approach to total university mental wellbeing:

  1. Learners (students and staff)
  2. HEI providers (e.g. wellbeing teams)

Each of these groups has their own, very different needs and Learning Labs Plus includes functionality to support both.

See the flow chart below. Learners (students and staff) can learn, assess and develop their personal mental wellness, and they can also invite a mentor to help guide their learning journey if they choose.

HEI providers (e.g. wellbeing teams) can access total institution assessment data anonymously. This enables HEI providers to compare domain progress over time, implement and record their own support activity and track and export reports to demonstrate impact.

The Learning Labs team also offers all university clients a host of bespoke support services, such as:

  • Creating bespoke, institution-owned Labs.
  • Creating wellbeing communication campaigns – we can support with science based graphics and learning content, sponsored by Learning Labs.
  • Staff training and courses on disability awareness, accessibility and inclusivity.
  • Streamlining external inclusivity and wellbeing services, such as mental health mentors, assistive technology (AT) training and equipment, AT e-learning and more.
