About University of Babylon

The University of Babylon located in the province of Babylon, 90 km south of Baghdad, Iraq. The name “Babylon” refers to the city in one of the most ancient civilization in the world, Mesopotamia. This city was a small settlement in the Sumerian region in about 4000 BC. The University of Babylon offers an environment where pupils can excel both academically and socially. Our students are encouraged to share their thoughts and we have a culture of respect. Each student is treated as an individual. The University of Babylon is proud to be a part of the city of Hilla and province of Babylon. We believe that through collaboration we can contribute positively to some of the important activities and issues for developing the province.
